WHAT IS A DOULA?
The word "doula" comes from the ancient Greek meaning " a woman who serves" and is now used to refer to a woman who helps other women during labor, birth and beyond.

MY SERVICES
INCLUDE:
I am certified through Stillbirthday as a birth and bereavement doula and am a member in good standing. With my CBE affiliation I am also a Bradley Method Doula and have had four unmedicated, natural, vaginal births myself as well as having supported vaginal and cesarean births.

one initial meeting to get to know each other and discuss your goals for birth

one prenatal home visit to go over your birth plan, discuss how you want your birth to go, roles of support persons and breastfeeding

emotional and physical support during labor and birth at home and/or hospital or birth center

phone and email support throughout pregnancy and postpartum

one postpartum visit to discuss the birth of your blessing and provide breastfeeding support
When you agree to my services as a doula, I'll have you sign a contract. At that time, I will no longer accept clients with due dates near yours.
